HOME MADE CURRY PASTE – PHASE 2
INGREDIENTS
4 cloves of garlic
1 thumb size piece of fresh ginger
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon sea salt
1 fresh red chilli
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 thumb size piece of fresh ginger
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon sea salt
1 fresh red chilli
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
1 teaspoon black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Chop up roughly and add all ingredients to hot pan to dry fry for a few minutes to activate the spices.
Once It’s lightly toasted, transfer to a blender and add 3 tablespoons of tomato paste and puree
Easy peasy
You could add water to make it more wet but I was putting mine in slow cooker with beef stock so didn’t bother
