If you are pregnant or nursing, this program is not suitable for you.

What are the 3 phases of the Weigh Less with Jess Program?

As mentioned on the info page to this website, there are 3 Phases of the Weigh Less with Jess program.

Phase 1 – Loading days (2-3 days) – Stick to eating healthy oils; avoid junk foods with trans fats. Things like any vegetables, any meat, any dairy, any fruit, avocados, nuts and “healthy oils” include coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, macadamia oil etc. You can sneak in a bit of chocolate too!

Phase 2 – (23 – 50 days) – Restricted calories (500 calories, there are no calories to count, you simply follow the meal plan). You stay on this phase until you reach the end of your Diet Drops or Soft Gel Caps. You then proceed to Phase 3.

Remember, for those who think you will starve, the formula allows you to survive on 2000 calories per day. Your body is using up this amount of calories so you do not starve. The formula also assists in suppressing your appetite.

Phase 3 – (23 – 50 days) Maintenance and the introduction to a lot more food. You do not use any formula for this phase. You can use the Garcinia to assist with food cravings if you have any.

This phase is for the same amount of time you are on Phase 2

e.g. If you are on Phase 2 for 40 days, then Phase 3 will be 40 days.

Phase 3 resets your metabolism at your goal weight so the weight stays off. This phase is just as important as Phase 1 and Phase 2.

After your time on Phase 3, you can return to your normal 1200 – 1500 calorie a day eating plan. If you have more weight to lose, you may start another round of the program from Phase 1 again using either the Soft Gel Caps or the Diet Drops.

How long am I supposed to be on the Weigh Less with Jess Program?

The Weigh Less with Jess program come in 2 sizes. A 25 day plan or 50 day plan.

The 25 day plan is for those who would like to have a weight loss of up to 7 kilos.

The 50 day plan is for those who would like to have a weight loss in excess of 7 kilos.

Once you complete either the 25 day plan or 50 day plan, Phase 3 must be completed by doing the same amount of days that was completed for Phase 2. For example, a 23 day plan means you will do phase 2 for 23 days then once completed that phase you will do phase 3 for 23 days.

After Phase 3, if you didn’t get to your goal weight, you commence another round, order more formula, and start again from Phase 1.

Can I do exercise on this program?

There are 2 methods of the Weigh Less with Jess Program.

Method 1 – (500 Calories, 1 capsule per day before a protein meal e.g. either lunch or dinner)

  • People who would do up to an hour a day of light exercise e.g. walking, yoga, Pilates, walking the dog
  • For people who do no exercise & lead a sedentary life style e.g. office workers
  • People with an injury
  • Older adults
  • Busy parents (running around after children)

Method 2 – (800 – 1000 Calories – 2 capsules per day e.g. one before breakfast and one before dinner). Users may find this method less daunting. Be mindful that by doing this method, weight loss will be achieved at a slower rate.

PLEASE NOTE For those who lead a very active lifestyle e.g. physical work load, fitness enthusiasts, fitness trainers or tradesmen etc… please contact and we can tweak your meal plan for best results.

For best results whilst on Method 1, it is recommended to do only light exercise while doing this program. Walking, Yoga, Pilates, lighter weight lifting (resistance) is great to keep up your strength. Stay away from high calorie burning exercises (e.g. running, aerobics). Over exercising will cause the body to go into starvation mode and hold on to the fat, fighting against the program.

While thousands of people have had great success on the Weigh Less with Jess program, many others do not even try it as the thought of a 500 calorie diet is too daunting to them. To address this I have made available a specific 800-1000 calorie diet plan as an alternative option. Those concerned about the low calories can now join thousands of  people who have lost weight safely with results often as good as the original 500 calorie diet.

If you are one who loves to do exercise and quite high intensity exercise, the 1000 – 800 calorie plan may be for you. With the success and development of our soft gel delivery formula (soft gel capsules), try Method 2 of the soft gel protocol; and only take 1 soft gel capsule daily, protein intake can be increased to allow a total daily calorie intake of 800-1000 calories.

The 1000 calories diet itself builds off the original protocol increasing calories by simply adding breakfast and higher protein portions to the other meals.

To address the additional calories, our highly successful hormone-free soft gel capsules has been formulated with a complete profile of powerful amino acids plus the fullest range of herbal and plant extract support. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) form part of the supporting ingredients. This powerful formulation has been developed to support the same results as the 500 calorie program.

Method 1 or Method 2, which one is for you?

Most people start off with Method 1, but here is a perfect scenario of why you would possibly choose Method 2.

‘With regards to the two different calorie versions, my job is sedentary; office work all day but I’ve just started at the gym 4 days minimum so not sure what I would come under?’

My answer to that would be, start off with Method 1 ( 500 calorie one time a day capsule). If you feel you are getting hungry (you will know after a good week) bump it up to 800 calorie & only one soft gel capsule a day.

Please note – you cannot chop and change each day between Method 1 and Method 2.  Stick with one method. If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to contact me jess@lesswithjess.com.au

Why would I not just go on the low calorie diet without the Diet Drops or Soft Gel Capsules?

When you try to lose weight solely by a low calorie diet, you will first lose normal fat reserves. Only as a last resort will your body deplete abnormal fat reserves. By that time you usually will feel weak and hungry enough that the diet is pushed aside and eventually abandoned. This is the reason that obese patients complain that when they diet they lose the wrong fat or muscle mass. They feel famished, tired, and their face becomes drawn and haggard, but their body shows little signs of improvement. The fat they have come to despise remains with them and the fat the body needs to cover their bones and vital organs depletes. The Weigh Less with Jess program is used in conjunction with the Weigh Less with Jess Diet Drops or Soft Gel Caps to allow your body to use up your abnormal fat storage as fuel/energy.

What are some of the foods allowed in the Weigh Less with Jess Program?

Will I be hungry on the low calorie diet?

You should comfortably go about your daily activities while on a low calorie diet. During the first few days on the diet, you might experience some mild hunger pains or headaches, this is easily solved by loading properly. But by the second week, the meal plan and formula is circulating regularly in the body and is consuming the abnormal fat. Your appetite will decrease and hunger will be satisfied with the smaller calories consumed. This is partly due to your body adjusting your metabolic rate, but largely due to the amount of calories circulating in your system from the fat being released.

A proper loading will help prevent the hunger, but if hunger is experienced, the following may help:

How much weight will I lose?

Weight loss will vary among individuals. On an average, dieters lose about 0.3kgs-1kg of weight per day but you may lose more, or less. It all depends on the amount of weight you have to lose before starting the diet, whether you follow protocol, and your metabolism rate.

When purchasing the 25 day plan, customers experience a weight loss of up to 7 kilos. When purchasing the 50 day plan, customers experience a weight loss in excess of 7 kilos and up to 20 kilos (for those who follow it exactly!

Will I gain weight after the loading days (Phase 1)?

Possibly. Most people gain weight after the loading days (Phase 1) but when you continue onto Phase 2, you will lose that weight and more. Don’t get concerned or freaked out by this, the weight will always come off providing you stick to the Weigh Less with Jess meal plan.

How will my body survive on the low calorie diet?

Half a kilo of fat contains about 3000 – 3,500 calories. Using the Weigh Less with Jess Diet Plan and Diet Drops or Soft Gel Caps on the low calorie diet uses the extra calories from the abnormal fat reserves. The used abnormal fat storage is making up for the low calorie intake and is enough calories for daily functions.

Is it normal to have headaches during the first week?

You may experience light headaches during the first week, this is in part because your body is releasing fat cells very rapidly. This is a major detox. You may take an Aspirin or Panadol as long as it’s not sugar coated.

Can I drink alcohol on the program?

In the original diet protocol by Dr Simeons, it does not mention or account for alcohol. It has been found that some users whom have been drinkers or even those that are borderline alcoholic, do surprisingly well on the program and possibly get them out of their drinking routine. These users have even said that they don’t even feel the need to drink whilst on the program because the formula works with the hypothalamus gland which also controls the emotional eating / drinking part of the brain.

What about pregnancy and being on the program?

If you are pregnant or become pregnant during the diet, stop taking the formula and consult your physician.

Will it have an effect on my birth control medications or methods?

This program will not interfere with any form of birth control.

Will I gain the weight back after I finish the program?

In order to have weight loss success, users will need to do all three phases of the program in order to keep your goal weight. After you finish the program you will be able to add into your diet an average of three times as many calories (about 1,200 – 1,500 calories).
Here is the thing, you will find that your appetite has changed as well as your eating habits. This is the perfect time for you to start a new, healthy lifestyle that will help maintain your new healthy weight! (light exercise program, or resume the exercise program you had before the diet.) After you have completed the Weigh Less with Jess program, you will be so happy and motivated to continue with your new healthy lifestyle that the old you will be gone forever! You’ll have a whole new outlook on life…healthy living and a healthy you!

The requirement whilst on the low calorie phase is to avoid putting oils and fats in or on the body. The price or quality is not the issue here, it is the oil/fat content that is to be avoided. Please read the labels! If you would like to apply lotions to your body for moisturising, stick to an oil free Aloe Vera Gel.

Should I stop taking my medications whilst on my diet?

No. Keep taking any prescribed medication and only change from that if your health professional advises you to. Although taking any kind of vitamin that contains oils may hinder your weight loss, for example fish oil capsules.

I am taking HRT – do I have to stop?

What are Grissini and Melba Toast?

A Grissini is a pencil-sized stick of crisp dry bread. A melba toast is a mini, dry and crisp thinly sliced toast.

And where do I buy them?

Most supermarkets or grocery stores, in the biscuit aisle or deli section. They are not difficult to find when you know what to look for. Check the labels and keep the calories and oil content to a minimum…for best results, I personally didn’t have any Melba or Grissini sticks.

Can I drink coffee?

You sure can! (but remember the milk and sugar instructions) e.g. one tablespoon of milk per day and replace sugar with Stevia.

I have seen other similar diets which cost hundreds of dollars? Are they better?

There are many reasons for differing prices. We cannot speak for other businesses but following our own amazing weight loss experience, have set our mission to providing top quality soft gel capsules and diet drops (Made and Licensed in Australia) at the best price we can whilst sustaining our business, plus, we freely answer all questions the best we can (peer support; medical questions should always be referred to your health care professional who knows your history). One thing you will get with this program that you won’t with others is that you can contact me any time with any questions. I make this a very personal affair and I offer support 6 days a week for your weight loss needs. I want people to succeed, not fail.

Can I substitute the foods for other foods of the same calories?

The Endocrinologist who pioneered the diet went to painstaking lengths to develop the food list. Foods included or excluded is each for good reason, deviating from this list will invariably have an adverse effect on your weight loss goals.

Do I have to have the diet drops with food?

No. So long as the three doses of our drops are spread throughout the day, and that there is 10-15mins free of food and drink either side of taking the drops, that is all you need to do.

Do I have the soft-gel with food?

Yes. Follow the label and take a once-a-day soft-gel 10 minutes before one of the main protein meals.

I am experiencing food cravings, what can I do?

If your diet has been high on sugar, alcohol or gluten, you may experience cravings in the early part of the program. They will pass and once the program is over, you may discover that you no longer crave those things.

I like to have breakfast but this diet says I cannot?

The Weigh Less with Jess program suggests in this instance to have one of the snacks as breakfast. Method 2 of the Soft Gel Caps is a different method that allows for breakfast but weight loss can be – but not always – slower. Soft Gel Caps can be taken as 2 capsules daily to accommodate a doubled protein intake.

So the foods are “specific” how do I know that I am doing everything correctly?

Provided when you make a purchase of either the Diet Drops or Soft Gel Caps is the meal plan which explains everything in detail. It has been compiled to address as much as possible for the person undertaking this program. If then the person is still confused, I offer support 5 days a week via text, and support 6 days a week via email, Facebook messages and Whats App for International customers.

Can I have additional foods that are not on the meal plan?

If the foods are not listed on the meal plan, then that food is forbidden. E.g. on Phase 2, is peanut butter allowed. Peanut butter is not listed on the meal plan, so therefore it is forbidden until after the program.

What happens if my period starts while I am still taking the soft gels or drops?

Recent information suggests there is no need to cease the soft gel caps or diet drops during menstruation. NOTE: there will inevitably be fluid retention during menstruation that can be reflected on your scales as no weight loss or even a slight weight increase.

I planned to do the 25 day plan but I want to go on longer – can I do that?

Yes, and a lot of people decide to do exactly that; add more days or weeks as suits you and your well-being. As you near the 40 day mark, weight loss may slow. Even if you are keen to go on, if the weight loss slows to a stop, then move on to the next phase then re-do the program. (In total, including another Loading Phase). Contact me for assistance jess@lesswithjess.com.au

My weight loss whilst on the drops was going well but now it has stopped.

The original Diet Plan “Pounds & Inches” explains this well. In brief: “There may be no drop at all for two or three days and then a sudden loss which re-establishes the normal average. These fluctuations are entirely due to variations in the retention and elimination of water, which are more marked in women than in men.”

It also explains that fat cells empty then appear to become filled with water as the body works on breaking down the cell membrane. Once it does this, the fluid is released and the weight drops.

Again from “Pounds & Inches” a plateau, and this is not uncommon (lasting 4-6 days usually in the second half of the program) can either be allowed to resolve itself or an Apple Day can be undertaken.

Do I have to wait any time before doing another round of Weigh Less with Jess program?

For best results, you can start another round of the program straight after you have completed the Maintenance Phase or Phase 3 and stabilised your weight.

How long is the shelf-life of the soft gels or drops?

Each batch generally has a shelf-life of three years. Whether opened or unopened, you can long-term store the soft gels and drops when not in use in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is okay but not necessary.

Can I eat pork or turkey?

Pork is fine on the Loading Phase (Phase 1) and Maintenance Phase (Phase 3) but not on the low calorie phase. It is higher in natural oils, although marked as lean white meat, oils are present in this protein, more so than those proteins presented in Phase 2 Diet List.

Should I do a detox prior to the program? If so, can you suggest one?

It is reportedly quite a benefit to each of us to undertake a detox periodically. This can be especially so if one’s lifestyle is not described honestly as a healthy one. Living in the 21st century brings with is pollutants in all manner and from which it is difficult to escape. The low calorie phase of the diet serves as a detox since sugars, carbs and processed foods are avoided and foodstuffs that are eaten are specific had not mixed. A prior detox can lessen the withdrawals that may be experienced (by way of lethargy, headache from an abrupt removal of sugar and carbs from one’s diet. We have 3 suggestions: (1) do the free one as described in our Diet Plan; (2) find another do-it-yourself detox that suits you from the internet; or (3) purchase an off-the-shelf product from chemist, health food or some supermarket stores.

What fruit can I have whilst on Maintenance Phase (Phase 3) as I know I need to avoid sugar?

A list of the fruits you can have whilst on Phase 3 is listed on your Weigh Less with Jess meal plan however, a useful site to visit for this and a wealth of other information in http://nutritiondata.self.com

What happens if my weight loss stalls?

Invariably there may be plateau experienced at certain times during the program. The Weigh Less with Jess Diet Plan explains this with techniques to overcome them (on the meal plan you receive when purchased). Check, check and re-check to see if there is no other reason like an unintended or unconscious deviation from the instructions. Such things like:

Remember, with some people, fat is redistributed from those places where it is in excess to other places where it is lacking so their weight may not change but their shape does.

Can you give me an example of what might stall my weight loss?

Any deviation from the Weigh Less with Jess Diet Plan is a “risk” just 2 grams of sugar (small glass of wine) or 2-3 grams of fat (couple of bites from a pizza) may be enough to stall weight loss for a day or so!

What happens if I cheat a little? Do I have to start again?

Any time one deviates from the instructions, there is a chance that weight loss will stall but adding a day or two to the program may be sufficient to see the same weight loss outcome. “Life happens” etc etc and it is difficult to cordon off the entire program time with no interruption to the diet. Best to prioritise yourself if you can, if you deviate just be prepared to add a day or two or accept a slightly lesser weight loss. Remember if you had a bad day, tomorrow is a new one and stick to Phase 2 with not a thought about the day before. Drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins you may have put into your body.

Where are the products made?

Our dietary support products are proudly manufactured in a Licensed Australian Facility, Australian Compliant with Guaranteed Quality Control and Testing to Australian Standards. We maintain rigorous standards and testing through all phases of production including pharmaceutical grade cGMP.

What is ARTG listed??

The Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) is the central point of control for the legal supply of therapeutic goods in Australia. Ensuring total Australian regulatory compliance as well as the highest quality control and testing conditions that exist for Australian pharmaceuticals.

The diet drops have a different taste this time?

The original ingredients for adipose fat release and appetite suppression have been maintained with the addition of Therapeutic Chinese Medicine (TCM) to further support and assist the body when on such a low calorie program.

The change in taste and colour is due to the fact that the drops now have the additional benefits of Therapeutic Chinese Medicine (TCM) added to the formula in the form of additional herbal and plant extracts. The additional herbs have changed the flavour making it have a more herbal and slightly bitter flavour.

Should you find the formula a little strong, you can dilute it in a tablespoon of water before placing it in your mouth. Example – 10 drops in a tablespoon of water 3 times per day.  This will in no way effect the quality of the drops nor their performance.

Why has the colour of the drops changed?

The change in colour is due to the addition of these herbs and Green Tea, however we can assure you that the change in taste and colour is well worth it as the formula now offers much more support and assistance with regards to energy, stamina and endurance whilst improving the active ingredients for weight loss.
