CHICKPEA FLOUR CURRY – PHASE 2
INGREDIENTS
40 grams chickpea flour
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 tomato chopped
2 green chilies
2 dry red chilies
1 tablespoon buttermilk
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Turmeric to taste
Asafoetida to taste
Chili powder to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl mix flour buttermilk and water to make it runny.
Add salt, turmeric, chilli powder and asafoetida to the mixture.
In a nonstick pan, add onion, tomato and green chilies and roast.
Once the veggies turn golden brown add the flour mixture to it and stir well.
Add more water to it and simmer for at least 2 hours.
Keep checking in between, if the water level reduces and curry looks thick, keep adding water.
Turn off the heat when u feel that flour doesn’t taste raw anymore.
Once done, add coriander leaves and red chillies for garnish.
