CHICKEN NUGGETS – PHASE 2
INGREDIENTS
400 grams Chicken breast
Egg
Psyllium husk (to coat the nuggets, also good for bowel movements)
Garlic
Paprika
Celery leaves
Oregano
Basil
Italian herbs
Salt
Pepper
Rosemary
(Add any other herbs/spices as you wish)
Asparagus
Spinach
DIRECTIONS
Whisk egg in bowl or if you prefer just the egg whites, add water if needed, put psyllium husk into a container, add all your herbs/spices in generous amounts, mix together then cut your chicken into bite size pieces, coat in egg, and finally into the psyllium mix.
Cook for approx 10 mins on 150℃ fan forced or 200℃ conventional.
While your nuggets are cooking, boil a pot of water, add asparagus, once the asparagus is cooked to your liking pull it off the heat and add the spinach to soak in the remaining hot water for a minute or two. Serve up your plate and add lemon juice and salt.
NOTE: This dish is a lot tastier if you double coat the chicken!
